Local driver Maťo Homola was the fastest man in TCR Eastern Europe qualifying on home soil at the Slovakia Ring. His teammate from Hyundai Janík Motorsport, Adam Kout, was second.
The second row for today’s Race 1 will feature Martin Kadlečík, who is back behind the wheel of an Audi RS3 from Aditis Racing team. He will start alongside Attila Bucsi in a Hyundai i30N. Italian driver Giacomo Ghermandi set the fifth fastest time in qualifying, and René Kircher was sixth, which means that two Honda Civics will be starting next to each other.
Seventh in qualifying was Jiří Zbožínek, with Žarko Knego eighth. Ivars Vallers and Petr Čížek rounded out the top 10.
