Bartosz Groszek achieved his first ever TCR Eastern Europe victory in Race 2 in Poznan. Michal Makeš finished second and he is new championship leader now. Sebastian Steibel was third.
Bartosz Groszek will remember his TCR Eastern Europe debut weekend in very good way. After 8th place in Race 1, he started from pole position on Sunday. And he didn´t throw this chance. He led from start to finish and took victory already in his second TCR Eastern Europe start.
Michal Makeš didn´t have an easy task before Race 2. After yesterday´s victory, he started from 8th place. But he was able to gain positions during race and finished second in the end.
Sebastian Steibel, who was overtaken by Makeš in last lap, took 3rd place. It was very successful race for ESET Race Star project today. Groszek and Steibel started with support of this project in Poznan. The top five was completed by fourth Szymon Jablonski and by fifth Giacomo Ghermandi.

Lukasz Stolarczyk had a bad luck today. He started from 2nd and kept this position in the opening laps. But he had a contact with Michal Makeš, went off the track and hit the barrier. Later, he withdrawn in pitlane.
Tomáš Pekař wasn´t happy too. He didn´t finish because of cracked half-axle and lost his championship lead. Michal Makeš is new championship leader now. The 2019 TCR Eastern Europe champion Milovan Vesnić struggled again. He had to start from pitlane because of technical issues. After that, he completed only two laps and retired. Petr Čížek also didn´t see checkered flag after he broke suspension.
