Bartosz Groszek became new TCR Eastern Europe race winner already during his premiere race weekend in the series after he took triumph in Race 2 in Poznan. No surprises, he was very happy after that. Read more in our interview.
You took victory already during your first race weekend in TCR Eastern Europe. After reversing TOP 8 from Race 1, you started from pole position to Race 2 and turned it into a victory. So how are you happy with race?
I´m very happy with the result. I´m trying to set myself high goals, but also realistic. I wanted to fight for top three this weekend. It wasn´t the case on Saturday, but I couldn´t let that opportunity go away with the pole. So I´m satisfied with a win on my debut in TCR Eastern Europe and I hope that´s a first of many.
What was you recipe to success in Race 2?
Recipe to success? Stay ahead after first corners. I knew that my rivals will be busy with fighting themselves after that, so I was pushing very much at the beginning. I was able to keep the lead and make the gap, but it doesn´t mean that it was easy to win. Makeš had a good pace, so there was no room for errors or coasting to the finish line.

Will we see you in TCR Eastern Europe again already this season?
At the moment, it´s too early to say something for sure about my future in TCR Eastern Europe. I would like to get chance for another win, but we will see how things will unfold.
