ESET Race Star supported drivers had a successful first half of 2021 season. Sebastian Steibel keeps third place in championship standings. Bartosz Groszek was also visible. He won Race 2 in Poznan.
First half of the 2021 TCR Eastern Europe season is over. And ESET Race Star project can consider it successful. Its drivers definitely were visible during first half of the season.
It was especially Sebastian Steibel who represented ESET Race Star project on top positions. The German driver achieved three podium results in first six races. At Slovakiaring, he finished second in both races of the weekend. In Poznan, he took third position in Race 2. He holds third place in championship standings with 75 points now. Only Michal Makeš (123 points) and Tomáš Pekař (114 points) scored more points than Steibel.

Except for Steibel, Bartosz Groszek also shone. The Polish driver competed in Poznan round and he could be very satisfied after the weekend. He crossed the line as 8th in Race 1 and secured pole position for Race 2 thanks to this result. In Race 2, he dominated from start to finish and could celebrate his first TCR Eastern Europe race victory already in his second start in this series.
Petr Fulín jr., Miro Horňák and Dávid Němček didn´t be a makeweight as well. Fulín jr. started at Hungaroring and he took points from both races. He was 8th in Race 1 and 10th in Race 2. Miro Horňák and Dávid Němček raced at Slovakiaring and they scored in both races of the weekend too. Horňák achieved 6th and 5th place, respectively. Němček was 8th in Race 1 and also in Race 2.
The 2021 TCR Eastern Europe season continues with fourth round on the weekend from 23rd to 25th of July in Grobnik, Croatia.
