The TCR Eastern Europe championship has confirmed Kumho as exclusive tyre supplier for the series.
“A single tyre supplier in all TCR championships is definitely the right way. We fully trust WSC and we are very happy that our competitors can use the same tyres as in other TCR series. The test results in Barcelona are very promising and we look forward to new cooperation,” said promoter Josef Křenek.
Kumho expanded its presence to other TCR championships. South Korean tyre manufacturer will be official tyre supplier for TCR Denmark, TCR Spain and TCR Iberico.
“Kumho is happy to participate in the new partnership with the WSC Group, the TCR rights holder,” said Tony Gangseung Lee, senior vice president of Global marketing at Kumho Tire, “We will use this partnership to enhance our technology image of motor sports and brand recognition in global market.”
South Korean manufacturer was founded in 1960. In the past, Kumho has been selected as official tyre supplier for many international racing series such as Euro and French F3 Championships or International Korea F3 Super Prix.
