Jáchym Galáš – Hyundai Elantra N TCR (Hyundai / Janík Motorsport) – 1st place
It was really nice to move from last place to first place during the race. I’m sorry for Maťo because the Janík Motorsport team could have ended up with all three podium places. There were no team orders, so we could fight for position [as we liked], although I was really careful not to hit Petr while fighting. In the end, I’m happy with the results, but there is still a lot of work to do on the car.
Petr Semerád – Hyundai i30N TCR (Hyundai / Janík Motorsport) – 2nd place
There was a little bit of chaos in the first turn and I received a small hit, which resulted in kind of weird steering and I was afraid that something was wrong with my car. Anyway, everything went well after that; I was passing cars and had a fight with my teammates Maťo Homola and Jáchym Galáš. I asked the team if I should let them by, but the team said no, so I defended my position for a while. Overall, I enjoyed the weekend, I’m really happy with the results, and I’m sending a big thank you to the ESET RaceStar programme, which gave me the opportunity to race here.
Milenko Vuković – Renault Mégane RS TCR (Besagroup Vuković Motorsport) – 3rd place
I chose a very aggressive setup to protect the front tyres and I had too much oversteering. In the first lap, I was careful, but then I found a good pace. At the end, I had tyre degradation, however I had a good fight with Maťo Homola. But I never expected that this experienced guy would hit me on part of the track where you cannot overtake. So it was a big disappointment for me.
