Petr Semerád – Hyundai i30N TCR (Hyundai / Janík Motorsport) – 1st place
The track suits me. Unlike other tracks, which you can learn, Poznań has places where you need to have the courage not to lift the throttle. It’s similar in rally, so I think this is my advantage, mostly in the third sector of the circuit. We will see tomorrow. The car should start well this time, we have new sensors from Hyundai, so I am hoping for results in the Top 5. However, the car is a bit unstable and I think that some cars are behaving better in the corners. The races will be all about not making mistakes because there are no small escape zones and there are barriers all around the circuit.
Petr Čížek – Cupra León Competición TCR (Fullinrace Academy) – 2nd place
I’m happy with the results. We wanted to be in the Top 5 in qualifying and we ended up in second after all. The car works well, the car setup is great, so it’s up to the driver to bring home a good result. I want to have a good start and then we will see. I hope the race will ??be without contacts with opponents. The most dangerous place is the second turn, where the drivers are quite impatient.
Václav Janík – Hyundai i30N TCR (Hyundai / Janík Motorsport) – 3rd place
I’m really satisfied because the free practices didn’t go well for me. The car didn’t work and I didn’t feel good in it like I did at Red Bull Ring. Maybe because of the old tyres, which we used in practice. So I was a bit nervous, but today I’m happy, the car works, and we are in third. I also like the track; I enjoy it. Now I can only hope for a good start for Petr and me.
