„The result is unbelievable. We had an engine problem during practice, and I only managed to complete one lap, so I didn’t have much time to practice. But I’m really happy that I was able to make fast laps and take my first pole position. The team fixed the engine quickly for the qualifying, and it was fine. However, it looks like it might rain tomorrow, and I’ve never driven in the rain before. So, I hope it stays dry, and I can repeat my win from Hungaroring.“

„The car was perfect, and the team did a great job. My lap was great with the first set of tires. I was also lucky with the traffic, as I had a big gap. So, thanks to the team for the right timing. Unfortunately, it’s only P2. I mean, the gap is very close, and P1 would be nice, but it’s still a very good position for the race. With a good start, it’s possible to win the race.“

„I got a very nice slipstream from Vít Smejkal, I think, and it helped me. Unfortunately, I missed the peak performance of my new tires. However, I’m very happy with my result, and even more so with my son’s pole position. To be honest, it’s difficult to explain my feelings. I feel like I’ve achieved all my targets.“
