Žarko Knego from Autoklub Dubrovnik team has made a surprising decision to switch cars mid-season and race with a Hyundai Elantra at Slovakia Ring and beyond.
„It’s not exactly normal to change cars in the middle of the season, but I decided to do so because I believe it will make a difference. So, goodbye Cupra Leon,“ said Knego, who obtained the new car just seven days after racing in Austria. The team then began work on a special livery.
„It’s a art car design. The credit goes to Tomislav Srbijinović, a member of our team who designs helmet and car appearances. He drew everything by hand. It was strange to me at first, but it’s beautiful,“ said Knego, who has scored one point this season so far and is now looking forward to new challenges and better results with the Hyundai Elantra.
