First of all, I have to apologize to Adam Kout. As I was warming up my tires, I noticed Adam at the last moment in the second-to-last corner. I moved over, but it was too late, and I forced him to go into the gravel. So, I feel really bad for ruining his fast lap, and I don’t really enjoy being in the pole position right now.
René Kircher – Honda Civic TCR FK7 (Mertel Motorsport) – 2nd place
It was a very close battle. I had a chance to improve my lap time on my second outing, but there was gravel in the first chicane, making it impossible to improve in the first sector. I only managed to be faster in the following two sectors. Now, I’m looking forward to the race, making a good start, and let’s see. The first corner is always important, especially here at Most. However, I like this type of circuit with tight and fast corners.
Petr Čížek – Cupra Leon Competitión (Expres Auto Racing) – 3rd place
I knew I would be somewhere at the front here at Most, and third place is nice, but I’m more interested in the race results. That’s the session where I want to finish at the front. But the first turn is dangerous after the start, and the first lap is very challenging as most of the fights will happen during that time. The key is to survive the first lap, and I expect a lot of contact between cars.
