Petr Fulín – Audi RS3 LMS TCR 2021 (Aditis Racing) – 1st place
The start of the race was pretty close between us, but I managed to keep the lead after the first chicane. I began to drive fast in the first five or six laps to create a gap, and then I just controlled the gap behind me. But I have to say, Čížek and Homola had a very good pace, and I had to concentrate throughout the whole race. Now it’s time to celebrate and then think about the strategy as we are starting from seventh for tomorrow’s race.

The start was absolutely great. I was even in first for a short time, but I was on the outside, so I chose to play it safe and didn’t try to overdone it. After that, I stayed behind Fulín for as long as possible to create a gap behind me, and it worked. Then it was all about taking care of the car and finishing the race in second place. Now I can say that the rest of the season looks brighter…
Maťo Homola – Hyundai Elantra N TCR (Hyundai Janík Motorsport) – 3rd place
I made a good start, which is a nice feeling, as I’ve had some bad starts during this year. I managed to pass René Kircher, which was very important, and then Davit Kajaia made a mistake, making my race easier because it’s difficult to pass at this circuit. My pace was at the maximum with the 40-kilogram weight ballast, but I’m very happy. The most important thing is the championship, and I tried not to make any mistakes and bring the car home.
