Attila Bucsi – Hyundai i30 N TCR (M1RA Motorsport) – 1st place
To be honest, my start was pretty bad, and I lost first place and then another one. Although I had a few slight contacts with Bartosz Groszek and Adam Kout, but the car worked great, and I was able to move up to second and began to catch Maťo Homola. My tires were kind of fine throughout the race. I tried to be careful with them all the time and managed to pass Maťo in the middle of the race. I must say I’m extremely happy with the results. It couldn’t be better. But there is still one race left tomorrow, so let’s see how it will be as I’m going to start from ninth place.
Maťo Homola – Hyundai Elantra N TCR (Hyundai Janík Motorsport) – 2nd place
I had a great start, and meanwhile, the guys behind me were fighting for positions, I saw it as my chance to create a gap in the lead. I tried to take care of the tires so they would last longer, but it wasn’t enough, and Attila was much faster. I congratulate him for the win, and we are happy with the results as we all finished in the top five and clinched the team title.
Bartosz Groszek – Audi RS3 LMS TCR 2021 (Aditis Racing) – 3rd place
The tires were already dead after three or four laps. I messed up the start a little bit, but then I had some fun with Adam Kout and Attila Bucsi. However, I think Attila didn’t see me coming and pushed me wide in the uphill section, so I lifted the throttle, and then it was just a survival game with worn-out tires. However, I’m very satisfied with the position. A podium spot was our goal before the weekend, and we achieved it, like in the old days last season. Even with our weight compensation, we are very competitive. We also have better tires for tomorrow’s race, so let’s see how it ends up.
