Dušan Borković became the new TCR Eastern Europe record holder in the number of victories this year. Milovan Vesnić is second in this statistic and Jáchym Galáš with Dušan Kouřil jr. share the third position.
TCR Eastern Europe completed its second season in history this year. Let´s take a look at the historical table in the number of victories now.
It is probably not a surprise that Dušan Borković is on the top of this table. The Serbian absolutely dominanted during the 2020 season. He won all eight races and leads with eight triumphs in the historical tables.
Driver from Serbia is also on the second place. Milovan Vesnić figures there with four victories on his account. He achieved all of these successes during his championship season in 2019.
The third place is occupied by two Czech young guns – Jáchym Galáš and Dušan Kouřil jr. The first mentioned, who is the 2019 vice-champion, the third best man from the 2020 season and also two-time Junior champion, won Race 1 in Grobnik and Race 2 in Brno during the 2019 campaign. Kouřil scored also two victories. The third man of the 2019 season took the victory in Race 2 at the 2019 Slovakia Ring round and also in Race 1 of the 2019 Brno round.
With the exception of Borković, Vesnić, Galáš and Kouřil, the TCR Eastern Europe history knows another two race winners. They are Martin Ryba and Tomáš Pekař. Ryba celebrated in the very first race of TCR Eastern Europe at Hungaroring in 2019. Pekař climbed to the top of the podium after the second weekend´s race of the 2019 Red Bull Ring event.
