The merged qualifying session for the TCR Eastern Europe and TCR Europe fields was won by Franco Girolami, with Aurélien Comte second. TCR Eastern Europe championship leader Maťo Homola finished fourth.
Joint-championship leaders Franco Girolami and Aurélien Comte from TCR Europe locked out the front row in qualifying at Brno. Third place went to Viktor Andersson, and starting from fourth will be TCR Eastern Europe leader Maťo Homola.
The third row belongs to Czech drivers Martin Kadlečík and Adam Kout, who is Homola’s biggest challenger in the title race, as Attila Bucsi is not participating in Brno. The seventh fastest time was set by Ignacio Montenegro, while Giovanni Scamardi was eighth. The TCR Eastern Europe 2022 champion Bartosz Groszek was ninth, and Levente Losonczy rounded out the top 10.
The Race 1 takes place on Saturday in 14.15.
