Team Horňák-Aditis aims to do the full TCR Eastern Europe campaign this season. The team will run its Audi RS3 LMS TCR, again with Radim Adámek behind the wheel.
In the previous TCR Eastern Europe season, the Horňák-Aditis team raced in four events – Red Bull Ring, Grobnik, Slovakia Ring and Brno. The Czech team ran Audi RS3 LMS TCR with Radim Adámek behind the wheel.
And the same combination is set to race again this year. However, this time it should be a full season. And obviously, it also means higher goals in the championship.
“This TCR concept sounds really good for our team. We want to gain more experience and move higher in the field. Last year, we joined TCR Eastern Europe in Round 2. This year, we intend to run a full campaign, if everything goes well of course. We believe that we can move from the back of the grid to the mid-field. But mostly we’re just excited to be back on the track, after a postponed start of the season,” the team said.
Adámek managed to get 25 points in 4 events last year. His best drive was his debut race in Croatia, where he finished 7th. He took 12th place in the championship standings, while Horňák-Aditis finished 10th in the team standings.
