The fourth destination in the TCR Eastern Europe series in 2023 will be the Slovakia Ring, located forty kilometres east of Bratislava in the Dunajská Streda district. The series will have a joint weekend 9th-11th June with European Truck Racing Championship.
The last time when TCR Eastern Europe raced with ETRC was last year in season finale in Most. Now it will be at Slovakia Ring, which has been a part of the TCR Eastern Europe since the premiere year of 2019 and since then it has never been missing in the series’ calendar.
Exactly 5922 meters long Slovakia Ring was built between 2008–2009 and the grand opening took place on October 1, 2009. The author of the project is an experienced Austrian architect Hans Roth, who is signed under similar projects in Austria and Hungary. The length of the starting and finishing line is 900 meters and in these places the track reaches a width up to twenty meters.
The international reach of the Slovak Ring is proved by the list of world championships that took place on the circuit. Motor sports fans could visit, for example, WTCC touring car races, FIA GT and ADAC GT Master cars and of course mentioned the European Truck Racing Cup.
