TCR Eastern Europe confirms the return of Latvian racer Ivars Vallers for the upcoming 2024 season. Vallers, who previously showcased his skill in the competitive 2023 season, is gearing up for a second stint in the series with the LV Racing team and their second-generation Audi RS3 LMS TCR.
Despite facing challenges as a newcomer to the series and the circuits, Vallers has demonstrated a steep learning curve. His journey from the Baltic Touring Car Championship (BaTCC), where he was crowned champion, to TCR Eastern Europe is a testament to his progress in motorsport.
Vallers’ preparation includes learning new tracks from on-board videos instead of simulators, and his collaboration with touring car champion Rob Huff, underlines his determination. Looking forward to the 2024 season, Vallers is focused on translating his learning and experiences into success on the track. His ambition is not just to compete but to score points and finish in the top 10 positions.
