The championship leader Tomáš Pekař finished second in Race 1 in Poznan. At the finish, he admitted the winner Michal Makeš was just better than him.
Tomáš Pekař had to settle with second place in first race of the weekend in Poznan. The Carpek Service driver lost to Michal Makeš, who was dominant in Race 1. Because of that, his championship lead ahead of Makeš was reduced from 17 to 10 points.
„It´s a beautiful circuit. I like it so much. It´s one of my favorite circuits. But Michal was just better today,“ admitted Pekař.

Pekař will start from 7th place to Race 2 after top eight from Race 1 will be reversed on the grid. And his target is to achieve podium result again.
„Tomorrow, top eight will reverse. I will start ahead of Michal and six drivers will be ahead of me. Overtaking is difficult there. But I would like to overtake two or three drivers and to take podium result again,“ he said.
Bartosz Groszek will start from pole position in Race 2. Lukasz Stolarczyk will be on second place and Sebastian Steibel will begin from third position.
