The popular Prague Car Festival event at the Letňany exhibition grounds once again attracted great interest from visitors and exhibitors. The Racing Expo exhibition offered a presentation of racing cars and technology. The ESET Cup, Clio Cup, TCR Eastern Europe, and F4 CEZ championships were, of course, not to be missed.
The ESET Cup series was represented by a pair of BMW cars from the Racing Trevor team. Specifically, the BMW M6 GT3 and Alpina GT3 EVO models, which have achieved a series of successes including victories and titles.
This year’s Clio Cup Trophy champion, Martin Kadlečík, brought his fourth-generation Clio, with which he raced from victory to victory, turning twelve starts into twelve triumphs. Next to the white Clio stood the Audi RS3 LMS from the Aditis Racing team, with which Radim Adámek competed in the TCR Eastern Europe.
The Hyundai Elantra N TCR of Croatian racer Žarko Knego attracted the most attention from visitors. People could sign and write various messages on the Hyundai´s hood. Altogether, over 5,000 signatures were collected.
The F4 CEZ series was represented to the public by Miroslav Mikeš’s formula 4 car from the SAPE Motorsport team, which served as the symbolic entrance to the exhibition. In addition to racing cars, the exhibition of ESET Cup and co. also included a presentation of Lukamotorsport Racing Shop, including a displayed Chevrolet Corvette.
As part of the accompanying program, a competition among Czech racers took place on Racingfuel simulators. The drivers competed with a TCR car at the Autodrom Most, and the winner of the contest was Jáchym Galáš, followed by Martin Kadlečík.
Beautiful models from ACL were also on display, and the new printed quarterly magazine Racing Journal had its premiere here.
