Sebastian Steibel has a rookie season in TCR Eastern Europe ahead of him. He will race with Cupra Leon TCR car of his own team Steibel Motorsport.
In the past, Sebastian Steibel completed three seasons in ADAC TCR Germany. He raced with Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR car of his own team Steibel Motorsport. Last year, he took a break from racing, but he will be back for this year and we will see him in TCR Eastern Europe. He will again race for Steibel Motorsport. He will change the car compared to previous year. He will not continue with Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR and will fight for the points with Cupra Leon TCR car now.
„TCR Eastern Europe is a good way to do a professional motorsport on a high level even for non-professional drivers like me. I like the spirit of this series. They also want to see people racing and to support them. Last year, I didn´t race because of coronavirus pandemic, but I will atack again this year. So my ambitions are to fight for the top positions and I will be satisfied with podium,“ says Steibel.

Steibel is the sixth rookie who was confirmed for 2021 TCR Eastern Europe season. Except for him, Richard Meixner, Tomasz Rzepecki, Dávid Němček, Petr Fulín jr. and Sanel Cehic are set to make a debut in TCR Eastern Europe this year.
