Team Unicorse will return to TCR Eastern Europe in 2021 season. But it is still unclear, which driver will race for them.
We can remember Team Unicorse from 2019 TCR Eastern Europe season. The Hungarian squad competed in two rounds at Grobnik Circuit and at Slovakia Ring. The team deployed one Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR in these races. It was Roland Amrein, who got behind the wheel. He scored 14 points in total and finished 14th in the overall standings. His best result was 7th place from Race 2 at Slovakia Ring.
And we will see Team Unicorse again during 2021 season. The team will return on the starting grid. They will race with the same car as two years ago and would like to complete full season. But it is still unknown, which driver will defend their colours.
Team Unicorse will be back.
„We would like to participate in TCR Eastern Europe again this year. But we have not a driver yet. We are working on it, there are a few interested people. We did tests last year with some really talented drivers. Hopefully one of them will race with us. As a team, we really would like to race in a full season. The car is the same – Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR. Without a driver, it is difficult to articulate ambitions. We would like to be part of TCR Eastern Europe, achieve some podium positions and develop further,“ said Ferenc Halbaksz, the team boss.
In the past, we could see Team Unicorse also in other touring car series or events. They have experience from FIA ETCC, TCR International Series or from FIA Motorsport Games.
