Bartosz Groszek – Audi RS3 LMS TCR (ADITIS Racing) – 1st place
The conditions were really tricky – there was standing water on some parts of the track, some parts were dry. But we did the best we could and took pole position. I’m really happy with the result because we beat Galáš and Homola. Today’s race might be dry, so everything will change, but I think we have set the pace for a Top 3 finish.
Jáchym Galáš – Hyundai Elantra N TCR (Hyundai / Janík Motorsport) – 2nd place
This weekend is all about testing and preparing the car for the Portimão race in the TCR Europe championship, so the result isn’t really important. I’m getting used to the car, although the qualification was a bit difficult because of the rain. Overall, I’m happy with the result because I can keep up with the pace of my teammate. We will see in the race.
Maťo Homola – Hyundai Elantra N TCR (Hyundai / Janík Motorsport) – 3rd place
I’m happy with the rain because it allowed us to try the car in these conditions. We took the car from Germany and transported it to Hungary, so there was no time to test it. So far, the car works fine, however I’m not happy with the qualification. The car behaved differently than I expected it to. On the other hand, we’ve gained experience and have something to work on.
