Maťo Homola – Hyundai Elantra N TCR (Hyundai Janík Motorsport) – 1st place
I had a decent start, not great, but good enough to hold my position. When Poschik’s car started losing oil on the track, it was a bit tricky driving on the slick surface. But fortunately, I managed to kept the car on the track and then began cautiously overtaking the cars in front of me. When I received the news about Ghermandi’s penalty, I simply followed him closely without attempting to overtake him, as it was unnecessary. So, I’m thrilled to have secured my second win with my fans cheering me on from the grandstands.
Philipp Dietrich – Cupra Leon Competitión TCR (Team Wimmer Werk Motorsport) – 2nd place
This was definitely my best race yet! To be honest, my start wasn’t ideal – I lost control of the car for brief moment in the first corner and almost made contact with another car, causing me to lose a positions. However, I managed to make a strong comeback on the outside of turn three and moved up to second place. From there, I pushed as hard as I could until the end of the race. It was a fantastic race, and I have to give credit to my team and all its members for their hard work and support. Thank you!
Davit Kajaia – Honda Civic TCR FK7 (Mertel Motorsport) – 3rd place
The start and first corner were really tight, and I have to admit that the race was quite challenging for me. The reason being that I couldn’t see a thing! Poschik, who was in front of me, was losing oil, and as a result, my windshield was completely covered in oil and dust. I honestly couldn’t see anything and had to rely on a small cleaner gap on the window to look out on the track. It was like driving blind, which made the race very difficult. So, I’m extremely pleased with my result and securing third place again despite the challenging conditions.
