Milenko Vuković – Renault Mégane RS TCR (Besagroup Vuković Motorsport) – 1st place
To be honest, I need time to register this achievement. I was sure that I had a pace that could fight for a podium finish, but when you’re starting from the last row, you can’t set your target on winning the race. We changed the car setup and I was very confident with it. I was able to drive very aggressively in the first lap. As I always say, you must be able to adapt yourself to every kind of situation, and I think I was not too bad today.
Petr Semerád – Hyundai i30N TCR (Hyundai / Janík Motorsport) – 2nd place
After yesterday’s bad luck, I’m really satisfied with the results. I started from the back, same as Milenko Vuković, so I wanted to stay close to him because his car is very fast in the straights. However, I didn’t manage to start well again and lost a couple of positions. But I knew what my car was capable of and that the best way to pass people was on the outside of the corners. So I managed to move forward, up to second place, which is great.
Václav Janík – Hyundai i30N TCR (Hyundai / Janík Motorsport) – 3rd place
It turned out well. Of course I’m sorry for Patrick Sing’s penalisation; I would have been happy even with fourth place. When Petr was behind me, we didn’t really fight – I let him through because I knew he was faster. So second and third place for our team is a great result.
