Giacomo Ghermandi started racing in 2020 with Cupra TCR.

He took part in TCR Eastern Europe 2021 and 2023. In 2021, his best result was the 4th place. In 2023, he crossed the finish line first at Slovakia Ring, but was penalized for a jump start, so his best achievement remains the 3rd place from Most in the same year.

He finished 6th overall in TCR Eastern Europe 2023 and reached 61st place in TCR World Ranking.
