The defending champions in both the drivers‘ and teams‘ standings are making a comeback at the end of April. Václav Janík’s team is gearing up for the next season of the TCR Eastern Europe series, where they will once again field three Hyundai Elantra cars.
The Hyundai Janík Motorsport team has been competing in TCR championships for several years, securing one drivers‘ title and two team titles in the last two seasons in TCR Eastern Europe. Therefore, the ambitions for this season are more or less clear – to repeat the success of previous years.
Václav Janík confirmed three cars in the starting field, but has yet to confirm the lineup. Last year, the team included current title defender Maťo Homola, along with Adam Kout and Carlo Czepiel.
However, TCR Eastern Europe will not be the only competition for the team. In addition to the ESET Cup with a KTM GTX car, Janík Motorsport will also make its debut in the F4 CEZ and Clio Cup.
