The final round of the season at Hungaroring is going to offer a dramatic battle for the Junior championship title as any of the juniors can still leave Hungary as the winner.

While the overall 2020 championship title has been already decided in Brno, the Junior championship battle is still very much wide open.

Jáchym Galáš is heading to Hungaroring for the final round of the season, which is set to take place on October 24-25, as a championship leader. The GT2 Motorsport driver has 48 points for one 4th place, two 5th place and two 6th place finishes.

While Galáš is in the perfect position to win his 2nd Junior championship title in a row, he still has to fight for it as he is only 4 points ahead of Michal Makeš. The rookie, who is racing for Mičánek Motorsport powered by Buggyra, has 44 points for two 4th place, one 5th place, one 7th place and one 8th place finishes.

There is also Szymon Jablonski in the 3rd position in the standings with 42 points. The Polish driver has an advantage of podium results as he took two 3rd place finishes for the BM Racing Team in Brno.

Another driver who made it to the podium was Dušan Kouřil jr. The Janík Motorsport driver with the support of the Autoclub of the Czech Republic managed to finish 2nd in the opening race of the weekend at Slovakia Ring. He has 26 points in total and still has a chance to win the Junior championship title.
