Adam Kout continued his impressive qualifying streak at the Slovakia Ring, claiming his fourth consecutive pole position in the fourth round of the TCR Eastern Europe season.

Kout was untouchable in Friday’s qualifying session, becoming the only driver in the field to set a lap time under two minutes and 11 seconds. Driving the Hyundai Elantra, he beat championship leader Martin Kadlečík by 0.667 seconds.

Hyundai Janík Motorsport came close to locking out the front row, with Jiří Zbožínek finishing just 0.086 seconds behind Kadlečík in third place.

Zbožínek will therefore start from the second row alongside Žarko Knego, also driving a Hyundai Elantra. Petr Čížek qualified fifth in his Cupra, while Kadlečík’s Aditis Racing teammate set the sixth-fastest time.
