Borković won in Hungarian qualifying

Dušan Borković won also the qualifying at Hungaroring. Milovan Vesnić was second and Jáchym Galáš was third.

Dušan Borković did not suffer a lose during the 2020 season. After pole positions at Grobnik Circuit, Slovakiaring and Masaryk Circuit, he took the qualifying victory with the lap 1:53,468 also at Hungaroring and will start from pole position in tomorrow’s Race 1.

The front row of the tomorrow’s race will be completely Serbian, because Borković’s countryman Milovan Vesnić finished second. He set the lap 1:54,717. The third fastest driver was Jáchym Galáš (1:54,717).

Lukasz Stolarczyk had a reason to be very happy after qualifying. The Pole experienced his best qualifying in TCR Eastern Europe and secured the fourth position for tomorrow’s grid.

It was the best qualifying in TCR Eastern Europe for Lukasz Stolarczyk.

Sandro Soubek, who will start also at Hungaroring in the end, was fifth in qualifying. Tomáš Korený was sixth during his qualifying debut in the championship, Szymon Ladniak was seventh, Michal Makeš was eighth, Radim Adámek was ninth and TOP 10 was completed by Szymon Jablonski.

The Race 2 winner from last year’s round at Red Bull Ring Tomáš Pekař was originally supposed to start with Cupra Leon TCR of his own Carpek Racing team. But on Thursday, he had the troubles in Thursday´s practice and he did not compete in qualifying. His participation in the rest of this weekend is also uncertain.
