Brno to offer 20 cars on the grid

This 2020 season continues with Round 3 at Automotodrom Brno and with 20 drivers on the grid.

The upcoming race weekend marks the round 3 of the season. After Grobnik and Slovakiaring, the drivers now head to Masaryk Circuit at Brno, Czech Republic. And there should be some very exciting battles for every single point, as there are going to be 20 drivers on the grid.

Dušan Borković heads to the Czech Republic as the current championship leader. The M1RA driver has been a dominant force so far and he won all four races. The Serbian driver has the maximum number of 100 points, exactly 54 points more than his closest rival. And if he can maintain at least a 50-point gap after this weekend, he is going to become this year’s champion.

But Borković is going to face some tough competition on his way for the championship title. There are drivers like Bence Boldizs. The Hungarian driver from Zengő Motorsport is using this series to prepare for the upcoming WTCR season. He began with 4th and 5th place finishes at Grobnik, Croatia. Then he improved at Slovakiaring, where he crossed the finish line in 7th and 2nd positions. He is currently 2nd in the championship with 46 points.

Milovan Vesnić is also not ready to give up. The reigning champion is 3rd in the standings with 36 points and he returns to Brno after missing Slovakiaring. But he is expected to fight for the highest positions again, just like he did in Grobnik before, where he was the closest rival to Borković. He finished 2nd in both races in Croatia.

There are also Sandro Soubek, Dušan Kouřil jr. or Jáchym Galáš. All three of them have shown some great pace so far and Soubek with Kouřil jr. have even made it to the podium already. Kouřil jr. and Galáš can also add some sweet memories from Brno from last year, as they were both victorious.

The upcoming race weekend at Brno is also going to offer three big comeback stories. Apart from the aforementioned Vesnić, another driver that is returning to the grid after missing Slovakiaring is Nemanja Milovanović. And also, Rudi Pešović is also coming back, it is going to be his first race since Red Bull Ring last year.
