The final round of the 2025 TCR Eastern Europe season began with morning qualifying, which was won by championship leader Adam Kout in a Hyundai Elantra from Janík Motorsport. His main rival, Martin Kadlečík, was second fastest in an Audi RS3 from Aditis Racing.
Kout arrived at Balaton Park with just an eight-point advantage over Kadlečík, but his qualifying win added another point to his lead. He was almost half a second quicker than Kadlečík, and the two title contenders will share the front row. Lining up on the second row will be their teammates: Bartosz Groszek from Aditis Racing and Jiří Zbožínek from Hyundai Janík Motorsport.
Fifth fastest was Petr Čížek in his Cupra from Expres Auto Racing. He will share the third row with Nemanja Milovanovič in a Hyundai i30. The fourth row will be filled by Croatian drivers Luka Fabijančič and Bojan Miljković, driving a Hyundai i30 and a Honda Civic respectively. Žarko Knego in a Hyundai Elantra did not take part in qualifying.
