The TCR Eastern Europe season finale at the Hungaroring crowned Martin Kadlečík champion. The Aditis Racing driver completed a successful season behind the wheel of his Audi RS3.

Luka Fabijancic and Nemanja Milovanovic started from the front row. Jiří Zbožínek and title contender Adam Kout lined up on the second row, with championship leader Kadlečík starting from the fifth.

Kout, driving for Hyundai Janík Motorsport, needed to get into the lead as soon as possible and hope that Kadlečík encountered trouble if he was to overturn the 14-point deficit in the drivers’ standings.

Kadlečík’s plan was to play it safe, protect the car and make sure he finished the race. After his crucial win in Race 1, he had a comfortable points advantage and no need to take unnecessary risks.

At the start, Kout and Zbožínek moved into first and second, while Kadlečík climbed to third, close behind Zbožínek. He waited for an opportunity to pass and eventually moved into second.

Kout set the pace and built a lead of almost three seconds over Kadlečík. But when a car from the Croatian championship crashed into the barriers, the safety car was deployed and remained on track until the finish.

Kout won the race, with Kadlečík second to secure the TCR Eastern Europe title. Zbožínek finished third, followed by Milovanovic and Fabijancic.
