Jonas Karklys has the premiere start in TCR Eastern Europe ahead of himself. The Lithuanian will start in the penultimate round of 2021 season at Slovakiaring. He will sit behind the wheel of Hyundai i30 N TCR car of his own team NordPass.
Shortly after René Martinek announced he will start in the penultimate round of the 2021 TCR Eastern Europe season at Slovakiaring, the grid for this round has grown again. Jonas Karklys confirmed he will make his TCR Eastern Europe debut at Slovakiaring with Hyundai i30 N TCR car of his own team NordPass.
„We are really excited to join TCR Eastern Europe and come to Slovakiaring. It´s an amazing track and we are really looking forward to join the grid. It will be nice to race against the current drivers,“ says the Lithuanian driver.

Karklys races with Hyundai i30 N TCR of NordPass team in ADAC TCR Germany this season. After two rounds at Oschersleben and at Red Bull Ring, he is on eighth place in the championship standings with 38 points.
Some from opponents of Karklys at Slovakiaring won´t be unknown for him. For example, he raced for Fullinrace Academy and Carpek Service teams in Octavia Cup and Clio Cup Central Europe respectively in the past.
