Martin Kadlečík in Audi RS3 claimed a crucial victory in the opening race of the TCR Eastern Europe season finale at the Hungaroring. The Aditis Racing driver extended his championship lead over Adam Kout to 14 points.

Kout made a clean start in his Hyundai Elantra, with Kadlečík close behind in his Audi RS3. At Turn 2, Kadlečík drew alongside Kout and moved into the lead. Kout immediately fought back, challenging his title rival through the opening laps.

Kadlečík defended well and kept Kout at bay before gradually opening a gap. The race seemed settled until the leaders caught slower cars from the Croatian championship, which shared the grid. With Kout and his team-mate Jiří Zbožínek also working through traffic, careful passing became crucial to avoid losing time in the corners.

Kadlečík negotiated the traffic cleanly. Although a safety car erased his advantage, he made a strong restart and held on to the lead. He appeared to have the stronger pace and went on to win the penultimate race of the season, taking his championship lead over Kout to 14 points. Third finished Jiří Zbožínek, which secured team title for Hyundai Janík Motorsport team. Fourth in the finish was Nemaja Milovanovic with Hyundai Elantra and fifth Luka Fabijancic in Hyundai i30.
