What does it mean to have a brand new car? Quite a lot of issues at the beginning… At least for Aditis Racing team during the 2022 season. First of all, the wating was longer then the team expected and instead of receiving for the season start, team boss and driver Radim Adámek was able to race with it in the second half of the season. Unfortunately blocked differential at Grobnik meant first issue with the car and another technical problems at Slovakia Ring caused, that Adámek didn´t even enter the second race. Those teething troubles for sure added wrinkles in the faces of mechanics.
New Audi RS3 LMS TCR manufacture in 2021 is significantly better than the previous generation. “The main difference is in the axle and in the chassis, where the car really behaves differently,” described Adámek, who experienced better weekend at season finale in Most, where he scored points in both races and even added third pole-position of the season in the Sunday´s races, in which the grid is decided by a draw.
